SCAD ITGM 257 | Core Principles of Game Design
This class introduces students to the fundamental aspects of Game Design, ranging from the Mechanics, Dynamics, Aesthetics framework to an intro to Game Theory and probabilities, while also including semiotics, cybernetic systems, flow, etc.
During the quarter, students will build various game systems, laddering up to a fully executed and polished Board game. Students will also put together a professional presentation to pitch their game.
